My hair color is part of how I express myself, and I really enjoy Lunar Tides. The dark fuchsia I like is a blend, rather than the result of opening one jar and calling it done.
The three colors in my darker blend
My darker-fuchsia formula with semi-permanent color is 70% Lunar Tides Fuchsia, 20% Plum and 10% Dark Violet. Dark Violet is the third hair-dye shade; it is separate from the Purple name on my contact lenses.

Why I chose semi-permanent color
I came to semi-permanent color during a difficult period with my hair. I was experiencing severe hair loss while using a GLP-1 medication. I had also been changing conventional dyes frequently—sometimes within two weeks—and a bleach treatment had left my hair in poor condition. Earlier, I had wondered whether menopause was part of the picture too.
I feel several factors may have contributed. That is my personal experience and timeline, not a diagnosis or a determination of what caused the hair loss. Enjoying this color is not the same as saying that it treats hair loss or repairs damage.
I have tried many products to improve how my hair looks and feels. Lunar Tides is a color I enjoy using. My ongoing product notes are on my Finds page.
